Jeff Gerecke began the G Agency in June, 2010, having previously worked at the JCA Literary Agency for 17 years.
G agency focuses on working with writers to shape their work for its greatest commercial potential, providing in-depth editorial advice to its clients to sharpen both manuscripts and proposals before submission.

Jeff Gerecke has been a member of the Royalty Committee of the Association of Authors Representatives since its founding and is always keen to challenge publishers for their willfully obscure royalty reporting.
His publishing background includes working at the University of California Press, which garnered his continuing interest in academic books that have appeal beyond academia alone. Jeff has also worked as a foreign scout for publishers like Hodder & Stoughton in England and Wilhelm Heyne in Germany, providing him with a honed understanding of how American books can be successfully translated and sold overseas.
